Order

We request information from the user on our order form. Profile

We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users that details their viewing preferences. We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Our employees use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to user information. Credit Check

For example, to determine if users qualify for one of our credit cards, we use their name and social security number to request a credit report. Once we determine a user’s credit-worthiness, this document is destroyed.

We use the INTER-BANC Financial Network to verify a user’s identity/address. This is done to help pervent credit card fraud by verifing that the person placing the order is accually the owner of Credit Card.

Purchasing History

When a user makes a purchase from Moore's Music Emporium, Inc. we collect some personal and demographic information in order for this Web site to enhance its ability to tailor the site to a user’s preference.

Enhancement of Marketing Profile
