I've been using these since they became available and have yet to find a string more solid for de-tuning. Staying crisp at tunings of up to two full-steps down, these strings still maintain solid playability and punch for whichever style of music you may be playing, but especially for heavy chugging down-strokes for the metalhead. If you've been using "Skinny-Top, Heavy-Bottoms" or any other thicker-gauge string, give these the Pepsi challenge. Especially dig the .32 "D" string! Highly recommended!
